A classic blend of Bordeaux varietals, this wine showcases the wonderful relationship between Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, each complementing the other. Grown mostly in Rutherford, this Bordeaux blend is deeply mulberry in the glass and features aromas of fig, chamomile, and salted chocolate. On the palate, hints of nutmeg and cherry kirsch compliment the fine tannin structure emblematic of Rutherford.
The grapes for this wine are family-farmed on a two-acre vineyard in southeast Napa Valley. The Immaculate Vineyard is influenced by the cooler weather from the nearby San Pablo Bay, allowing for slow and even ripening. An intense purple in the glass, the nose features raspberry, leche, cinnamon and vanilla. Gentle tannins lead to boysenberry; caramel and savory notes lead a long finish. This vintage is a fuller expression of a Coombsville Cabernet, showing the versatility and range this exciting AVA has to offer.
Mount Veeder is part of the Mayacamas Mountain range along the western side of Napa Valley. At 1,500 feet elevation, Bruadair is the highest elevation vineyard in the Redmon portfolio. Bruadair produces concentrated grapes that create dynamic, complex Cabernets. Intense aromas of blueberry pie, violet, pan de grille and minerality compliment this wine’s burgundy hue. On the palate, bright fruit, notes of savory and char show the aging potential of this energetic Cabernet. Bold tannins on the finish make this a perfect wine for the dinner table that will drink beautifully for years to come.
Fifty-year-old vines are central to our viticultural program at the Redmon Estate Vineyard, located on the valley floor in the heart of St. Helena. These old vines produce the grapes for this stunning 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Initial aromas of rose petal, cherry, expresso bean and a touch of oak lead to a long finish with brightness, silky tannins, and hints of dark chocolate covered cherry, pumpkin spice and toast.
This beautiful Carneros Chardonnay begins to reveal hints of honeydew and golden apple as it opens. It is a balanced white wine, but with rich fruit flavors, perfect match for any meal.
The inaugural release of this Cabernet is a shining example of how the sum can be greater than the parts. We have blended of our top tier vineyards in one bottle to include 25% Mt. Veeder, 25% St. Helena and 50% Coombsville AVA’s. This wine reflects how these wines work together to create something special. Cherry blossom, nutmeg, pomegranate and toast on the nose compliment the mocha, Asian spice, cream soda and rich texture.
